I hope they don't make the strikes "more affordable" by going to silver plate. I'd prefer that they retain the .999 silver and change the value. Make them into $20 or $25 strikes. As far as the $200's go, a suggestion that I don't think I've seen on the board (but I may have missed it) is to make them thinner. That way there would be less silver in them so they would cost less to produce and could retain the $200 value. The diameter could still be the same, so there would still be room for plenty of art work and they would still display nicely along side the other $200's. I'm not a coin/medal/medalion minting expert, so maybe this isn't feasable. I don't know; just a suggestion.
