Re: Delta Saloon Virginia City
That's a good question Dave. I was not able to find anyone who knew the future of the machine. They have in play pretty much all from their old series, plus the VT railroad. They will eventually run out, so don't know if they will re-order or perhaps purchase new strikes. It seems to get pretty good play and is very hot/cold, like the 3 lines can be. For those who like coins, across the street (at the Bonanza Casino) is also two very old slot machines, one that pays Franklin dollars and the other that produces the newer (1970's) large silver dollars. The Franklin dollar machine is called "Silver Strike" and is produced by Bally's. The other silver dollar machine pays out well (it is a quarter machine and pays about one silver dollar for every dollar you put in but has payouts of 1, 5 and 20 coins). When it pays out the higher payouts you have to "hit" the machine to get it to dispense everything as it is very old. If you do go to the Bonanza take lots of quarters and they are only quarter machines and to get change you have to go to the bar (they have no cashier). Virginia City is like stepping back 100 years.
