Strike Machines

If you recall last summer when the memo from IGT to the casinos was circulating, it stated that IGT was getting out of the Silver Strike business at the end of the year and that if the casinos wanted to continue, they would have to buy the machines and they would be serviced until parts ran out.
My question is, did that happen, or is IGT still leasing out machines? Thinking about it, I find it amazing to think that Harrah's and Harvey's in Tahoe bought machines and then pulled them out in a few weeks? Slots A Fun bought six machines and then just pulls them out? What happens to the machines that they bought? I'm sure IGT won't take them back, so what do they do with them?

My guess is that IGT did not sell the machines, but is continuing to lease them to those casinos that want them, but does anyone have any info? I'm sure IGT isn't helping get strikes anymore, but it seems odd that a casino would buy machines and then pull them out so quickly.

Also, does anyone know if the Binions machines are in yet? Will they be in before the convention?
