Without taking sides in this dispute, in all fairness to Barry, I think you should try not to be so hard on him.

I know what you meant when you made that statement he didn't like....and most others knew too. But if you re-read closely what you said, to a newbie or someone who doesn't know you, it kinda' came off like you were insulted that he asked what he did. It was the wording. And so he kind of jumped the gun with his remarks. It's just one of those things that can be read both ways.

So I think both you and Barry should just say "maybe something didn't come out right.....can we start over?"
