Ok, I was hoping to skate by using my Editorial License on this but if you look up the word "lest", it is defined as "in order to prevent something [from] happening..."(MS Encarta). The word "less" is defined as "a smaller amount of..." or to "take away, with a reduction..." (also Encarta). Use of the word "less" in this phrase and context is incorrect. Thanks James but those websites have it wrong too, although it IS a pretty common mistake. I was just kinda hoping to get consensus on the error status of all the strikes I have that say "less we forget." Guess I'll have to try another route to wealth and fame.
