I think here in California the traffic has gone down somewhat.

Last Wednesday, on my frequent trip North about 150 miles, I left at my normal 6:30am time to beat traffic.
While the in-coming traffic was jammed as usual with working people, going out of town was much easier.
There was a lot of traffic, alright, but flowed smoothly for once. Going through the mountains, you could see the normal, hundreds of semi's carrying their loads, but the passenger car count was way down.

I hope it stays that way.
