Not surprising that fuel tankers are not being stolen more offen. There has been a big rash of fuel being stolen from farmers who keep hundreds of gallons on their farms for their equipment. Farmers have it tough as it is. Couple of weeks ago a two guys figured out a way to get fuel out of the underground tanks at a gas station in Merced they pulled their Van next to where they fill the fuel tanks lifted the cap off and started pumping it into a 50 gal drum they had placed in the back of the van What they forgot to do was figure out how to stop the flow of gas Thousands of gals ran down the street into the gutters guys took off leaving the van. I wonder if they where the smart ones in the family.
