PALMS update

The Palms "Car series"--1941 Gasser Willys red cap (the other $10 strikes listed are clear caps)--59 Lister--1986/87 Buick Grand National--1932 Roadster--1950 Merc Kustom and the $200 strike 1970 AAR Cuda which will have gold electro plate (the Palms paid up front) will be the next new Palms strikes to go in play. All of the strikes have been approved by everybody in the process and the dies are being made. There is no firm delivery date from the mint--I'll post one as soon as Craig Karnatowski lets me know.

The following strikes have been approved by the Palms and the mint but are awaiting NV Gaming Comm. approval which should be no problem:

Statue of Liberty with American Flag in background $200 strike all brushed silver with Gold plating on the flames coming out of the torch--no colorization on strike. The Palms paid upfront for the gold plating.

Red Cap $10 strike--Palms Twin Towers outside view with only the hotel towers--the "Palms Place" is not in the design.

The next strikes in the working stage are all $10 strikes without the Mint or NV Gaming Commission approval (as of yet) are the following:

"rojo lounge" no capitals in lettering--Palms Palce Salon--PalmsPlace Hotel and SPA--The Newsstand yes the lettering runs together due to space avaliable on strike(this applies to the "PalmsPlace Hotel also)--Drift SPA and HAMMAM (I have no idea what HAMMAN is)--St La Sunset Tan--I'am sure there will be at least one Red Cap in the lot.

All of the strikes in this posting will have the "S" Sunshine Mint mark--that includes the $200 strikes.

This posting is correct as of 13 May 2008. I will ask Jerry O'Neal to post the art work pictures--so don't ask me.
