I think the speculators are in for a rude surprise. I think there are many more "error" strikes than we have been led to believe. It will be too bad if gullible collectors pay a premium for this issue.
It takes a while to get new artwork, get it approved by Gaming, followed by a new sample and get it approved by Gaming, before any corrected series goes in to play. And if I'm in charge of the Silverton strike program, I have no incentive to hurry as long as the greedy keep playing my nachines around the clock.
The difference between this situation and the no "I" in Plaza, is that the original approval was correct for Plaza, so there was no need to go back through Gaming to issue the correct version.
Think a long time before spending a lot here. The only way these strikes get a big price is if people believe the hype. Unfortunately, we have seen that before.
