Re: 1.3 oz of pure silver and gold overlay
I have collected coins for 50 years and every time I went to Vegas I picked up 2 or 3 strikes as a souvenir BUT always assumed they were all silver because of the .999 on the rim. I think that would be a natural assumption. I thought trading 20 of them for a $200 stike was a bad deal because the $200 strike was only 12 ounces and I thought the 20 strikes would come to somewhere around 25 ounces. I just cashed them back in and now wish I would have picked up some of those early $200 strikes. I found out about the club 3 years ago by talking to players at the strike machines. I will be in Vegas the last week of May and am afraid I will miss out on the $200 strikes this trip. Unless I get lucky and the Four Queens delay their release. I am staying at the Four Queens so look for me at the machines. I will be the short (genetic) fat guy (too many buffets) with the bent neck (arthritis) on the Rascal scooter(stay out of my way). I would love to meet any club members that happen to find themselves downtown.
