YES, I/we sure would bring up the SUPPORT THE SS CLUB issue next year at $50 or even more.
The club coin is to help support the SS Club and to try to help keep the ever rising club costs down. Instead of having to raise SS club dues or fees. And to have a SS club coin to HOPEFULLY be prowd to have. Up until last year the sale of the club coin was a large help with club expenses.

Last year I bought 2 SS club coins. This year I will buy at least 1 SS club coin.

You seem to think the cost of silver has nothing to do with the cost of minting the club coin. Intrestic value or not it cost MORE(because of silver cost) to mint then mail to buyers of the club coin this year. Just think what it would cost if there was not a few volunteers(not you) who will see to it that the SS club coin is minted and mailed to the buyers.

By the way David as overseerer of the SS club newsletter. I am having trouble finding anything you have contribited to the newsletter. I am hoping you can refresh me on what & when you contribited something to the SS club newsletter. I might have missed something you had contribited in the past. I am looking forward to you contribiting in the newsletter some useful information for the SS club members in the future(hopefully near future). Just e-mail me with the useful information for the SS club newsletter. I will look it over for possiably putting it in the next SS club newsletter.
