Re: GOLD, SILVER & BRONZE
More thoughts. First, I am a member of the Silver Strikers Club and have been collecting strikes for 7 years even before I knew what they were called or that there was a club. NOW, more about my idea for bronze, silver and gold plated. Have them all have a stated/printed $10 value on them. The bronze can be minted for under $3 each I believe. The silver I don't know so let's say $18 to mint them and the gold plating would add another $2 making them $20 each to mint. Fill the machine with 10% gold plated sterling strikes, 30% sterling silver strikes and 60% bronze strikes. The average for the casino would be under $10 each at about $9.20 each strike. That way four strikes out of ten you win would be sterling silver and/or gold plated sterling so it would still be fun. Make a one troy pound sterling strike with a $200 value like now but you have to trade in ten of the silver and/or gold strikes to get it. Also make a one pound troy bronze strike in the same design but with a value of maybe $50 that you could get for trade with 5 of the bronze strikes. I am sure the $50 bronze big strike could be minted for under $10. This way all us collecters could go crazy adding one of each metal to our collection. The starters in the hobby could pick up a few big $50 bronze medals to take home and the casinos should be able to still turn a good proft ALL WITHOUT CHANGING ANYTHING ABOUT THE MACHINES. COME ON MAD HATTER OR LUSHER OR WHATEVER, what do you think.
