Jeff - When I first started collecting Silver Strikes in 1993 ( the year a machine turned up at Harveys ) the reason I started playing it was it indeed stated Real Silver Coins and this was the reason I stopped to play the machine. Later I remember the old style machines saying Silver Collectors coins so the word silver has been on machines for many years.
I think Jack Haddocks post the other day is the way things might go, Less Silver or dumping the $10 and having only a $40 strike and make the $200 into a $300 stike.
I don't belive the casinos could put a hold chip in the machine that would make a profit for them on the stike machines with the cost of a stike well over $10.00 because Nevada Gaming has a max amount of hold a casino can get.
