Charging extra money is not going to happen. The gaming comission would have a field day with that one. The only way I see the strike program continuing is killing off the $10 strike and making all the machines Dollar machines that pay out $40 strikes. The $200's would become $400 strikes and would be exchanged for 10 $40's. IGT is not going to make a new strike machine, so converting them to dollar machines is the only option. Making them harder to win would require a new chip set that IGT isn't going to do. The current $10's are not going to be bought for $15 and put into the machines as they are today.
