What to do. Coin Dealer has 200+ Strikes

Just got a call from one of my coin dealer freinds. He has over 200 silver strikes and wanted me to make an offer. I offered him 10.50 each for the lot. With Silver so high, He says he is going to scrap them for 12.25 each. What would you do. Offer him 12.25 each and sell them on Ebay for 12.00 plus costs.

It reminds me of the old story about a couple of guys selling Christmas Trees. They would buy them for 10.00 each, load them on the truck and bring them to Chicago and sell them for 10.00. They made a few trips and then they stopped at a restaurant to eat. They talked about thier business and one said to the other. "we are not making any money doing this." The other business man said "we should get a bigger truck".

Sounds like us selling silver strikes on Ebay. Just rambling on. Thanks for reading. Ted SS171

The Tropicana will not honor this $100.00 token. Does anyone have any history on this one.
