Re: Silver prices in Las Vegas
In Response To: Re: Silver prices in Las Vegas ()

When i read the posts on this site I get the feeling the glass is always 1/2 empty. We as a group should be celebrating the new highs in silver, not looking for something to whine about. If Mr, Rassmussen wants to sell or melt his ss's thats strictly his business as either an individual or dealer. Reliable dealers like warren and wes add tremendous liquidity to our hobby and facilitate the acquisition or trade of ss's without trekking to l.v. My coin dealer is in the process of sending $100,000 in silver to the smelter. Its called doing business as he chooses to based on the options he has at his disposal.

As far as greed is concerned i never thot i'd see that word in the same sentence w/ wes rasmussen. the two are mutually exclusive. Most silver strikes are mini works of art and collecting is a great hobby. Remember, every time a strike is melted it affects supply and demand. Lower supply makes our collections worth more.
In conclusion I suggest we all celebrate the appreciation involved in our hobby and do what we can to insure its continuance.
