Jerry - When a person has several common strikes and there are no takers when listed why should a person just put them back in storage and sit on them. There are just some common stikes that never seem to sell due to the fact thousands were made. It's not always about the money but the space they can take up in a small safe. So I guess I am a real bad person because I have been sending several to the melt pot. I figure better a few bucks then just having them sitting around never selling. Know I have a bunck of brass rings that just sit in my garage waiting for some more to be added so I can sell the brass.

P.S I have also broken open some pre 1965 mint sets that had some bad looking silver coins ( and not just because they were toned ) and sold them for silver value, heck that got me 9 times face for the 1/2. 1/4 and dime and that was more than would bring in auction.
