Wes, being that you live in Las Vegas and used to be a coin collector and are now a Silver Strike dealer, I find it very strange that you would be posting on this BB looking for a jeweler or a coin dealer who would purchase silver $.50 under spot in the Las Vegas area. I am sure that there are Yellow Pages in the phone directory in Las Vegas to locate this information that you are looking for unless there is another method to your madness! I find it very disheartening that there are members of this club that would be knocking the centers out of Silver Strikes whether they be commons or not to cash them in for the silver value. I don't feel that you or any other member of this club needs the money that bad to be destroying the "Symbol" that is the backbone of this club that we all belong to. I can understand that if the strikes are damaged to the point that collectors will not purchase them because of condition, but not to sell them for silver content because of what the silver value is in today's market! There are new members in our club who have to start somewhere in collecting, and like I did, I started collecting the common strikes first, then I started to purchase the more expensive ones. Instead of destroying them, why don't you and the other people who post on this board who are doing this to silver strikes, offer them to our new members/collectors at a reasonable price that everyone can be happy with! If you and others are going to do this and destroy the silver strikes, why would you want to post it on this BB and rub it in our faces instead of keeping it to yourself!
