The prices George quoted are good here in the bay area of Calif.
( san fran area )also. If your dealer is saying he can pay only $6 per strike he is ripping you off and you need to find another dealer to deal with. As far as not even getting face for a stike in auction thats anybodys guess, cheap buyers maybe.
As silver keeps going up ( and it will continue for some time I am told ) there will be less and less common strikes going up for auction and more going into the melting pot.
I am watching auctions know for biger lots that can be gotton for less than face so I can add to the ones I have that will go to melt also.
