My greatest "Holy Grail" was winning a McCarran Blackjack spades on eBay. I think I only paid 10 or 11 dollars. That must have been over five years ago. I was hooked ever since. And I too have come across some great finds by just stopping by my local coin dealers. They usually get Silver Stikes from people cashing in their coin collections, and not knowing what they have.
Most coin dealers don't bother with Silver Strikes, because they are unaware of their values. So they sell they for the silver value.
I love the hobby and I continue to collect. This is a great web site!!! Thank you to all who contribute.
