I was reading over on the chip board, again. Someone asked the group what each of them thought would be their Holy Grail of their collections. And the answers were all different.

So to you strikers, this could be as much fun. What would your Holy Grail be in your collection. Does not have to mean the highest price paid or highest valued strike.

For me, one of my Holy Grails would be my Circus Circus error. Not because of its value but how I got it. Years ago I was working in Colorado. I stopped in a coin shop and asked about strikes. He had a bunch on Colorado strikes which I bought because he sold them all to me at 2 bucks less than face. He also had three Nevada strikes. Two he also sold me at $8 each. Wouldn't you know it, he wanted more for the Clown. I asked him how much, he said he just had to get $9 for it because his wife was a clown collector and he would have to explain he sold it. Begrudgingly I paid him the extra and took it home. It is to this day in my collection.
