You are talking about two separate strikes. The one with no date is called; "Las Vegas Harrah's Steamboat no date". (This particular strike was released in 1994). The strike which has a date on it (1995) is known as “Las Vegas Harrah's Steamboat dated 1995 or with date 1995". (This particular strike was released in 1995) There is no particular reason for that but, it did cause the collector to play for or buy both. Additional information which should be included in a listing is the mint, CT in this case and whether the .999 is on the rim or in the center, on the rim in this case.
