WOW, That is a startling picture of the strike rims. But I have no problem with dumping off some common strikes. Most will remain for future collectors if the hobby survives at all. It's kind of like dumping Franklin Mint plates for scrap or silver teapots or silver spoons. A huge volume went to smelters back in the $50 silver craze in 1980 or close to that date. Hey, Lush, I bet you could even list those .999 rims on ebay under silver catagory and they would sell like hotcakes to some of these people trying to make a fast buck in silver. I am really fond of the $200 strikes and hope the price of silver falls so they can still be produced. I think the $10 strike may have to go the way of the dinosaurs and the $7 strikes to make room for a new denomination to take over so the hobby can continue. Maybe a $25 strike and a $50 strike. Just rambling with some thoughts.
