One must ask themselves why a seller would require $14.99 for overnight shipping, when that shipping thru the Post Office or UPS would cost more then that. Your almost asking yourself for trouble...... Why pay that when First Class is only 2-5 days longer depending on where you are. You really have to read all the details..and hopefully the seller gives you them, truthfully....
Recently I bought 4 items from 1 seller, all ended the same day, there idea of combining shipping was to add up shipping of each item, $2.50, + $2.50, + $3.00, + $3.00, = $11.00 shipping. I ask to combine, "their policy" was not to do that. I suggested they were not doing much to encourage multiple buys, They were sticking to "Their Policy"...... I would never buy from them again, and That might work for them, for a while, I suppose.....This seller's $14.99 will work as long as people continue to buy there stuff......When they don't get any bids maybe they will stop and come back to earth, or they will increase it to $19.99 or ???? to make up for lack of bids. Sellers need to realize that there is limit to off- setting fee's by charging shipping cost's that are out of this world.
Brick and Morter stores have a cost of opening their doors, and that is figured into any item you might buy. A E-bay seller should realize it's not such a bad deal there getting to list a item considering how many customers might look at their item. Don't try to make it up in shipping.......Hey list the same item on another site ( Jackpot, Yahoo, Beckett, there are a ton on wanna be auction sites) , probabley take 5 to 10 times
longer to sell "if your lucky".....
My book on this seller is they list their shipping at $14.99, Overnight, if you bid, You get what you ask for unless they don't ship overnight, then you have a beef ( Really does anyone need a silver strike overnight).....Otherwise buyer beware,
