Sorry about saying much but I just cant stop doing the math on this thing. A police Sgt friend of mine here in FW used to be involved in our convention centerand he gave some ideas on expenses these guys pay out. Now, our tourney would gross the hotel $52,500, very small number for a convention, especially in Vegas. The hotel still would have to buy the strikes, plus the free banquet and misc. The hotel would prob only make about 15 to 25 grand profit. Any other convention that needed rooms, meals, hall rental would probably shell out well over $150,000 for the same number of people for the same 3 days. That money would be almost all profit for the hotel. I really think we got bit by the greed bug.
