Gary...I agree. I don't know what happened for them to cancel the tournament but it must have been big. I do think they owe us a more detailed explanation. I think if we, as an organized and civil group, stick together and act as adults, we might get some answers. That's all I'm asking for, an explanation. Their biggest mistake was to make the announcement without a valid reason. That's what got to me the most. Out of all the rumors going around, there is not one that makes sense. They should put an end to the rumors by stating the facts but so far they aren't willing to disclose them. I hope we can all go to Vegas and act like adults. The employees of these properties shouldn't be the brunt of our hostility. We'll never come in contact with the person responsible for canceling the tournament. My suggestion is to pick a committee at our meeting, who can act in our behalf, to work toward getting some answers and compensation to those who think they deserve it. I know this wasn't a club event but most of the players are club members. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in Vegas and hope we can maintain the class operation that we are.
