Scans of 2007 strikes are needed...

As many of you know, I am the ccgtcc's OTY Awards Program Chairman and each year, in advance of the Convention, the ccgtcc conducts a Silver Strike of the Year contest, alobg with the other 3 OTY categories; COTY, TOTY and CKOTY. The 2007 contest has now been opened and I would like to be able show all the prospective Silver Strike candidates to the ccgtcc membership for potential nomination to the ccgtcc's SSOTY contest.

While I recognize that the Silver Strikers maintain an "on-line" catalog at SilverStrikers.com, that wonderful site is not organized in a fashion to only show releases from 2007. Therefore, I am respectfully requesting the assistance of the many fine collectors here to provide me with scans of any and all 2007 releases you may have on your computer systems. It is my intent to display those scans at a web-site I maintain, called the Un-Official OTY Viewing Site. That site is actually a self-service site, in that anyone with scans can visit there, up-load scans by filling-in a very brief form to identify casino name, strike denomination, city/state, name of person providing the scans and two spots for a obverse and reverse (front and back) images of a strike.

While I would much prefer that this self-service feature be used, I can certainly do all the posting myself if the images are emailed to me. My email is as noted above, and the here is a link to the up-load site, where several strikes have already been up-loaded.

ccgtcc membership is NOT a requirement to make up-loads.

I thank you for your consideration in this request for help! Please feel free to email me with any questions you might have.

Respectfully,

Jim Follis

ccgtcc OTY Awards Chairman
