Well, here is my two cents worth on this rip off. The only reason I was really going to Vegas was for the tourney. I managed to beg a couple of extra days off work to stay for 1 day of the convention. My wife was going to stay for the 2 days of the tourney just to be a good sport. Her recently widowed(after 55 years of marriage)grandfather was going to play in the tourney at our expense. We even bought his plane ticket from KC. He is not a gambler but was looking forward to playing a machine without putting money in. Just for kicks as he is 74 and has never done that before. He has no real interest in Vegas. Now there is no way that I can afford to just hang around Vegas for 5 days. That is not in my budget. My wife will cancel her trip as will her grandfather. After all the math is done I have lost around 500.00 due to getting only a portion of the air tickets refunded. The tourney was my entire reason for going. Now I have been ripped off and I want to know who is going to pay for this screw up. I can find no RIGHT OF CANCELLATION written into the WRITTEN CONTRACT I have with the FLAMINGO....no clause that dismisses their obligation to me. I am sorry if I sound like a bad sport. RIGHT IS RIGHT and this is wrong. If someone stole 500.00 from you would you just shrug it off and walk away....WELL, WOULD YOU? BECAUSE THEY JUST DID!!!!
