Just a comment,if I may....Smashed penny collecting is by far a larger hobby than silver strike collecting.......And as in any hobby there are smashed pennies that sell for hundres and some for thousands of dollars each...Disneyland and World's Fair smashed pennies,,,nickels,,,dimes,,,and quarters come to mind....
