Walt as a SS club member and a SS board member I personally want to thank you for this post.

You are right as I understand it just about ALL of the SS Clubs PROFIT from the sale of the club coin. Is in the club strike coins that HAS NOT been sold. This is one of the reasons that the club dues & fees was raised. The club strike had helped greatly the past year to keep from raising them. I also understand that not as many will be made this year to try to keep the supply close to the demand. IT'S A SHAME TO HAVE TO DO THIS -- WITH ABOUT 600 SILVER STRIKE CLUB MEMBERS.

It is worse then it seems on the surface. Because there was some SS Club members who bought more then 1 to help out the SS Club - I myself bought 2. So there is not as MANY club members supporting the SS Club this way then it seems. I have a hard time understanding why SS club members spend BIG BIG $$$$$ on silver strikes. And are fast to complain about the club or want to know when their SS Club newsletter will get to them.-- Believe me -- I have received the e-mails or heard from them personally. But they will not do something to support the SS Club. Like buying the club strike or even contributing a article or something to be put in the SS Club newsletter. Which cost them nothing except perhaps some time and trouble.

If it puts someone in the poor house to buy just -- 1 --. Then how can you be a silver strike collector??????????
