Heads Up On Refunds

For those of us caught in the Flamingo mess it bears noting that under Federal Regulation, i.e. The Fair Credit Billing Act, that we as credit card holders only have a 60 day window to dispute a charge that is billed to a credit card and have the issuer/bank get involved in resolving the dispute. If I am not mistaken I believe that 60 day timeline starts from when we receive the statement with the charge in question. The bottom line here folks is if we cannot get the Flamingo to commit to refunds of our $350 deposits we need to contact the card issuers and begin the dispute process. I for one plan to contact Flamingo Marketing as soon as those "fine folks" garner the courage to come into work today for my money back and if they will give no solid committment to a refund I plan to contact my bank promptly.
