I can spot them fairly easily and I always look for the second chance in my ebay.
It just makes me mad that the perpetrator got my user name from this board then went to and found something that I was bidding on but was outbid, and then sent the spoof email to my address that I use on this board (not my address).
He was not very bright as he sent the spoof before the auction was even over.
It is a shame that this board has been perverted into a scam harvest site.
I want to be able to trade with members on the board, but scams like this make you wary to put your email address on a post.
I guess that I am just venting. No harm was done to me. Others might not be as savvy.
