Your daughter needs more practice. There is no such thing as self-insurance in this instance. A personal guarantee is what you are mistaking for insurance. By law, insurance is a guarantee by a "third party" and here no third party exists. Your insults notwithstanding, my position is correct. A seller may not state that insurance is included in a shipping fee unless a third party is promising to pay if delivery is not completed. Insured shipping is not shipping with a promise by the seller to pay or replace the item if it doesn't get delivered. Tell your daughter to look it up! And I'll put my litigation record up against her or anyone else.
