Take a moment this Veteran's Day, and think about those who are currently serving, or who have served. As I write this, there are young men and women far away from home. They are cold at night, hot during the day, hungry most of the time, scared all the time. But they go. And they fight. And some of them pay the ultimate price. Why? Because the politics don't matter to a sailer or a soldier. Duty matters. You're ordered. You go. You do your best to keep your buddies alive. And you wait for the orders to go home.
You'd better believe they are thinking about home right now. The least we at home can do is say a quiet prayer for them.
