Made a fast trip to Tahoe today and stopped at Harrah's and Harveys for a little bit. The good news is There are still strikes in the machines but Managers at both casinos said that there is a new problem, it know looks very good the $10 strikes will be gone before the $40 strikes and when this happens I was told the $40 would be returned or destroyed. Harrah's upper managment is still very unhappy with somebody over something to do with the strike program and are standing hard and fast that the program will not continue and that is a real shame since it took many years to get the strikes back at the two casino's. Also it seems we collectors are not the main players at Harveys, there it seems the Poker Players are playing the machine the most so they can have a Strike to use as a card gaurd when play Holdem Poker. At Harrah's it seems the regular customers are just playing to have something new to take home since it has been several years since strikes were at Harrah's.
One thing that was the same today as last week is the machines still aren't that friendly at letting go of one of their strikes.
