The only version of the 1999 GDC strikes of the 1946 and 1999 Casino that I have ever seen have the bird on the logo side, as shown on silverstrikers.com. The Bugsy has the flower/feather version. I would guess the guides you are referring to are incorrect. Have you asked the guide writers?
