I get flamed every time I mention the fact that IGT has ended the silver strike program, and that within the next few months there might be machines left at four queens, and possibly slots of fun. Word is now that the mints cannot produce strikes for the casino without IGT's Umbrella authorization. The mint is not going to jump through hoops to produce strikes for 1 or 2 casinos, it will not be profitable. I am just being rational and real about this. Flame away, but the silver strike program, unfortunantly has been terminated. The machines are going away as the casinos will not buy them for a program that has no backing.
