Brenda and I fly stand-by to these events and as such must watch the passenger status of the flights we want. In order to get to Las Vegas we actually ended up flying to Reno and driving to LV. As the availabilty for stand-by diminished in Dallas on our original planned flight out, we rushed to DFW airport, rushed through security and tried to make an earlier flight. We missed that flight and again, were able to fly to Reno as an option. Well, when we got to Las Vegas, I found that a number of my trader strikes were not with me. OH NO!!! These strikes numbered about 80 and included many gdc McCarrans, A 3 coin Caesars display, sets from Paris- Balloons, Sparks Nugget- Resturants, Atlantis - Mermaids, LVC signs 1-4, Bally low g's, Ballys's 2003 set, Hacienda's, New frontier saddle, and many others to include the 1997 Sid's Jake. I was sick but decided I would find them at home on my return. We arrived home early today (2 days early as our original planned flights filled with paying passengers - so we left @ 6 a.m.)
We could not find these missing strikes at home. Looked everywhere.
Now for the UNBELIEVEABLE!!!
Drove back to DFW and collected the missing strikes from Lost and Found as they were separated from us while rushing through security check-in. I am a very lucky person....
