Re: Strikes for Sale
Hello,
It would have to be a given that Mary was asking me "SARGE" because it was MY orginal post that she responded to and that is why I responded. If you would have posted or responded that if I (SARGE) no longer had the strikes that you had them available (which is why dealers are good).
It seems that you tried to take away a trade (or sale) from me. I don't think offended is the word I would use and I will be nice and not say what it is. Now that you "jumped" into this post I will let you sell to Mary. I don't want to "offend" a dealer trying to make a living.
And by the way if I ever post a list of strikes for trade or sale Dave please do not respond. I am taking you off my list of people to deal with (and now you are the only one unless you apoligize). I think this will be your loss not mine.
Now for the rest of the strikers:
I have been collecting strikes for 15 years and I have about 4000 strikes (about 1000 different). I can't afford to go to Vegas but once a year for my anniversary (in May). This is just a hobby and not a business for me. I offer strikes for trade or for sale. If you think a strike is worth worth a certain value and I think it is worth something different then we do not have a deal. I have passed on many deals because either I or the other person could not agree on values. No harm and no foul. If my values were to high I would not have been able to have traded over 500 strikes or sold about 20 in the last two years since joining the club. I also have negotiated trades for others. I also have meet many great fellow strikers and have dealt with them personally.
If anyone I have ever traded or sold to and they are not satisfied Please post here and I will make it right. If there is any, I will quit trading on the this board. I might even quit the club.
Thank You,
Sarge SS-885
