You say, “If you want to have a successful collector's club, you need to enforce the constitution and bylaws that you have, or what's the use of having them?” I say, “If you and the other eight are not members then what concern is it of yours”
You say, “it is grounds for a dismissal from the club when a member is chasing new members away.” I say, “If you and the other eight are not members then I didn’t chase any new members away, therefore there are no grounds for dismissal.”
You say “The strike program has lost several supporters due to Norm's behavior, and maybe the $200 strikes would last a month or two, rather than an hour or two, if something was done about” I say, “ I am not the one releasing only 148 strikes. If they were to release 200 or more they would not have a problem with running out. In my opinion if they did this there wouldn’t be the demand that a short run creates and I think they like the idea of selling out right away rather than having them in stock.”
Once again I must mention that I made little or no profit off selling the 7 7 7 for $300. I think all those collectors who were able to get them from me for $300 were happy that they did not have to pay the $400 plus that they were selling for on that other auction site. I am happy that I can get these strikes for about cost for those who can’t make it to Vegas and will continue to do so.
I know I got 21 7 7 7 from the Four Queens but I was holding enough $10 strikes for 11 collectors that played for and won them but were not able to get to Vegas during the release so I got them for those collectors. I did not sell one for more than $300 and actually sold one or two for less.
As far as all the negative post all I can say is “Negative thoughts produce negative results and positive thought produce positive results.” Live by this and you will find life much easier.
