Your $2.5 Liberty is probably worth a little more than scrap. It depends on the condition, if it's extra fine or better it should be worth closer to $150-$200 versus the $85-$95 gold content... I pay about $8/oz for sterling at todays prices and can turn that into $10 with a refiner. Good luck with your liquidation, and damnation to the taxman... UGH..
