My wife and I are comming to Vegas for 11 days starting on August 1.
We have never stayed downtown and currently have reservations at the Golden Nugget for our first 4 days.
While we read tripadvisor about places we stay we do not put a lot of faith in their reviewsas everyone has different tastes in their accomidations.
However as of late the reviews for the Nugget have been horendeous and for once have put a scare in us.
Can anyone who is local or has stayed there recently shed some light on the current situation.
Until 2 years ago when it was closed, my wife and I always stayed at the Westward Ho and loved it.
Don't know if we liked it so much because it was totally comped or what. I just figured I'd add that so you can get an idea of our tastes. We have also stayed at the Orleans and TI and like both as well.
