I have had a great time getting some history on these strikes. Seems they are one of a kind prototypes that were never acdepted and put into production. Six were made and only four made it into the hands of collectors as far as is known. Apollo II, Challenger, American in Space, and Mariner 6. I have been told that the other two (Lunar Roving Vehicle and Surveyor I) are in a vault at IGT, it would be interesting if anyone with IGT ties can elaborate? Of the four that got out, I understand two collectors each have one of them and I have the other two. I have posted pictures in case anyone wants to see them. This one is the Apollo II front and back. Any more info on these that can be shared would be much appreciated!
