With IGT getting out of the strike business and casinos being required to purchase the strike machines I think it will create a better strike program. One of the main reasons is that once they purchase the machines and the program is not working they will not be able to call IGT and say "Come and get your machine." The person(s) responsible for authorizing the purchase will have to create a program that generates play which will be red caps or another chaser program.
