Walt - the popularity of poker continues to grow at an incredible pace, and is far greater than it was in 2005. I still can't believe the crowd at last years WSOP, and I didn't even go to the WSOP Gaming Lifestyle Expo. There were huge crowds of spectators, huge crowds of players, and huge crowds of fat wallets. All kinds of things related to the WSOP were flying off the shelves, some of which was junk and/or overpriced. The main hallway outside the WSOP would have been a perfect place for a couple of machines with beautiful, high quality, WSOP strikes and I have no doubt that they would have been busy.
The popularity of the Razor poker trading card set, featuring images of pro players, is an example of how people want to get their hands on virtually anything poker related.
