A strikers' prospecting journey
Just returned from my black opal / sun stone (re: the travel channel} prospecting trip. Put about 4000 miles on the truck and had the following experiences: saw it snow in June, slept on a coleman air mattress in the bed of that pick up truck the night after it snowed (cold, I guess), found opals in Nevada and sunstones in Oregon, saw ClemPops in Vegas, got 2 Sids 200's, got 40 clears and many reds from the QQQQ, played poker in Vegas and Reno, came back with more money than I left with (didn't hurt to hit a royal flush in the Atlantis no limit hold'em game), bought strikes at coin stores all the way up and back, found a love for canned peaches and a fear of canned corned beef hash (think about that one- think sudden methane), have decided to do it again, probably this year, just had a great time. Hey, this silver strike thang ain't never gonna die unless we let it..... George
