WOW, I wonder how long this slot attendant has been thinking up this story. It sounds like he has been refining the details for some time and was looking for a couple of people that might fall for it. Or maybe he himself was told the story and fell for it and decided to pass the info along.

I doubt very much that Gaming would allow anyone to put $10 value coins and "no value coins" in the same machine. I am pretty sure that those tokens would have to be approved by gaming for use and I don't think it would happen.

I am a newbie to strike collecting but have been in the gaming industry for over 15 years on and off and this is just my thought. It sounds like A collector upset this attendant some time and the attendant decided to start a rumor and see how far it got into the community.
