Got to Fremont Street about noon last Sunday, in time to catch the remainder of a GREAT car show. Oldies and customs were lined up from the Plaza down past Fitzgeralds, and it was impressive....The Four Queens issued two red caps with "June 2007" and cars on them...pretty strikes. Word is the new $200 will be out on July 6....the Gold Spike has their machine back in operation, and according to a guy that played it, very tight....El Cortez is thinning out their slot machines and have removed the strike machines. Not sure if they will return. If you like prime rib, try the Bay City Diner at the Golden Gate. For $6.99 it is great, very tasty, juicy and a bargain I think....I won $100 in a slot tournament at the Plaza but played back many more $100s at the tables.....I should stick to feeding the silver strike machines....I saw a few collectors and had the usual great time shooting the breeze. I will be back on Fremont Street for the July 6th. $200 release...hope to see many of you there...Jim
