Harvey “Singing in the Rain” Rein (1250) reigns as the 2007 Jackpot Auctions American champion. Second place goes to Mike Higgins (1196) and the third place winner is Tad Palmer (1189). This year’s coveted “Slow Ear” award goes to Robert Baxter (424). Along with the “Slow Ear” award I am going to give a “Bad Beat” award also.

Unfortunately with two weeks remaining two contestants did not receive my email requesting their selections be mailed to my Yahoo email address also. I had to give both contestants the surrender points. Had this not happened Peter Van der Kar would have probably have been the winner. Next year I will require all picks be sent to both email addresses to avoid any mix-ups.
