well i know insurance very well my wife has been my agent for the past 19 years!! i have insurance on 50,000 worth of silver strikes, they are insuranced just like jewelry is ,it cost about $2.75 per $1000 per year, i just had to give the insurance company a list of all my strikes and the price i payed for them next to each strike, as long as you pay the payment any home owners polcy should cover them , there no different than insurance on a gold or silver coin collection, jewelry or a fur coat, i have my silver strikes, gold coins, silver coins, jewelry, cameras,and pocket watches all insuranced seperate and they all cost me about $2.75 per $1000 per year, a safe is a good idea, but your just telling a robber you have something worth locking up? i have a friend who was a locksmith for 2 years i had him look at my safe, ( more like a vault ) it took him 11 minutes to open it with a few tools!! put your strikes in a old shoe box in your closet? who wants your old shoes!
